Are you an avid language student? Do you like learning languages and sharing that love with others who are trying to learn a language?

Some of the Language Acquisition courses have limited resources to help students practice and develop their skills.

There are a number of ways that you could get involved in making the Language Acquisition programs more fun and engaging. Below is a short list of options.

  1. Organize language clubs. This could be language specific clubs, an international or multicultural club.
  2. Chat sessions where a group meets for a period of time each day and just practices using the language. This can be conversation, games or other activities. The goal is to do whatever it is you´re doing, using the target language.
  3. Of course, there´s always the option to tutor younger students.
  4. Other ideas? Talk with any of the Language Acquisition teachers.
  5. Work with the language teachers to help design and create new resources such as handouts, articles, practice sheets, etc.
    1. For languages in general, talk with Ms. Faria.
    2. For Portuguese B, talk with Ms. Carvalho or Ms. Rodrigues
    3. For French B, talk with Ms. Gardiner or Ms. Yuen.
    4. For other languages, you can discuss the needs with any of the language teachers.
