Year 12

Term 1

At the end of this term your progress toward completion of the CAS program will be evaluated based on:

  • The date you begin CAS projects
  • Level of engagement: 3-4 hours per week on average
  • Reflections are
    • Ongoing
    • At regular intervals: approximately once per two weeks per project
    • Address selected LO´s in a meaningful way
    • Include other evidence such as photographs
  • Responsiveness to notes from your CAS Advisor or the CAS Coordinator
  • Completion of the first interview

Term 2

At the end of this term, your progress toward completion of the CAS program will be evaluated based on continued:

  • Level of engagement
  • Reflections
  • Responsiveness to notes from your CAS Advisor or the CAS Coordinator

Term 3

At the end of this term, your progress toward completion of the CAS program will be evaluated based on continued:

  • Continuous engagement at a reasonable level: 3-4 hours per week on average
  • Reasonably balanced experiences between Creativity, Activity and Service
  • Consistent reflection of how your projects have helped you address the LO´s
  • The majority of the LO´s addressed over the year
  • Completion of the first year of the CAS Portfolio
  • Completion of the End of Year interview.

 NOTE: In order to meet the conditions to move from year 12 to year 13, you must be on track with CAS, sufficiently to be able to complete the 18-month program by the end of year 13.
