DIPLOMA CANDIDATE

The CAS Program at Oeiras International School is what you make of it. The purpose is to help you develop a well-rounded life that focuses on both academic and personal life and skills.

Take the opportunities provided through this program, to be adventurous—try new experiences, learn something new, help those in need.

EXPECTATIONS

> Be Engaged—Actively participate in CAS projects three (3) to four (4) hours per week, throughout the 18—month program.

> Maintain a relative balance of Creativity, Activity and Service to others*.

> Demonstrate personal development through reflection on ALL Learning Objectives.

> Complete at least one (1) long term project.**

> Reflect frequently and consistently, with a focus on how personal growth is happening as you address the Learning Objectives.

> Create a portfolio to submit at the end of year 12 and 13.

> Meet all deadlines.

> Communicate regularly with your project supervisors and your CAS Advisor.

> Be proactive promptly address any notes or recommendations from your supervisors or CAS Advisor or the Coordinator.
