If you ask someone who is not part of the OIS staff, to supervise your project, you will need to ask them to sign a “Supervisor Agreement form,” in Either English or Portuguese. Since it is unlikely that they will understand what CAS is about, you need to explain it to them. In order to maximize their understanding of CAS and your personal goals, you can use the Supervisor Brochure in Portuguese OR the Supervisor Brochure in English OR Portuguese to begin the discussion.
In this meeting, you should have already completed your portion of the Supervisor_AGREEMENT in Portuguese OR the Supervisor_AGREEMENT in English, and ask them to complete their side.
This form should be scanned, named “Supervisor Agreement–[name of project] and uploaded as evidence to that project on Managebac.
NOTE: If your supervisor is on the OIS Staff, no Agreement form is needed, but you might want to share the brochure with them.
