The CAS Coordinator is responsible for assuring the CAS program is in compliance with International Baccalaureate guidelines and policies of Oeiras International School, regarding requirements, safety and security of participants, assisting and training the CAS Advisors. RESPONSIBILITIES > Familiarize you, staff, parents and community with the CAS program. > Promote the importance of CAS in personal development. > Identify potential safety and security issues. > Develop a school-specific CAS handbook and resources. > Administer CAS budget. > Collaborate with Advisors to manage CAS records & reporting your progress to school your parents. > Publicize achievements in CAS to the community at large. > Develop and maintain CAS policy statements. > Lead the CAS team. > Train and facilitate CAS advisors. > Coordinate / facilitate communication with project supervisors when appropriate. > Ensure consistency across the program. > Communicate & liaise with outside organizations regarding their involvement in CAS. > Report completion / non-completion of CAS to the IB.
